Outstanding Asian / Southern American Fusion in the heart of Atlanta

Came to Poor Calvin’s for lunch after visiting the Center for Human Rights as it was pretty close by. What an outstanding experience.
First off I’ll say the parking lot is quite small, so be prepared to park out on the street or somewhere around the area. Better yet, take a ride share to the restaurant.
We started out with the Lobster Wontons. Absolutely delicious and topped with a balsamic reduction / berry compote type of sauce. Such a great start.
For lunch I went with the Crabmeat Grilled Cheese (pictured below) and my wife went with the Lobster Fried Rice (pictured at the top). Both were absolutely incredible and VERY filling. We ended up taking half the fried rice home. Great place to grab and meal and what a really fun fusion menu with Asian and Southern American influences.
